This scene was created while experimenting with volumetric clouds. It doesn't resemble what I originally set out to create, but it has a reasonable alpine feel. I'm fairly impressed by the volumetric cloud implementation in Carrara: with a little tweaking, the results are reasonably convincing.
This scene contains six volumetric cloud objects, three on the mountain slopes and three in the sky above the mountains. There are five terrain objects, including one in the foreground. The figure in the foreground was added to improve the sense of scale.
