Tutorial removed

The Poser hair tutorial that used to be part of this site has been removed.

The tutorial was originally written many years ago, at a time when hair for Poser figures was difficult to obtain or create, and it provided some tips and suggestions for extending and using the hair models available. The situation has changed considerably since the tutorial was written. Many excellent high-quality hair models, including inexpensive or even free models are available from sites such as DAZ3D, Renderosity, PoserWorld, PoserDirect, and ShareCG.

Because of this, and because the tutorial referred to old versions of the software, I decided that it was unlikely to be useful to anyone any more, and so removed it.

I am sorry not to be able to offer you an updated tutorial, but now that you're here, I hope you'll take a moment to browse around the Bytescapes site. You may also find other tutorials and free downloads in the resources section.
