This image was originally created using Bryce 4, and is built entirely out of primitives. It uses a number of lights to try to give the impression of daylight entering a darkened room from outside. The relatively complex lighting makes it very slow to render.
Before finishing a scene, I usually render a high-resolution (3200x2400) version. To render this one, I had to dig out an old laptop running OS X 10.6 (because Bryce 7 is incompatible with newer versions) and leave it running continuously for several weeks.
