Orange Giant

An alien landscape created with Mojoworld Generator 3.

This is a pretty, but not very plausible scene. If the huge glowing orange orb in the background is a star, then it’s close enough to blast away the planet’s atmosphere (goodbye, clouds) and probably melt the planet as well. If it’s a planet -- a ‘hot Jupiter’, for example -- it's probably still within the Roche limit, and the viewpoint planet would end up torn into fragments. Still, why let astrophysics get in the way of a fun picture?
