This started off as another exploration of Iray in DAZ Studio 4.8. However, I had trouble getting the fog to look the way I wanted it, so I pulled it into Carrara to apply some fog there.
Originally, it was simply a cityscape. However, I changed the camera angle and introduced a foreground figure to make it more interesting.
The platform in the foreground is built from Stonemason's Modular Sci-Fi Kit 01, slightly retextured in Carrara to fit better with the general gloom and decay of the scene. The city is built from very large numbers of Stonemason's Greeble City blocks.
