This is an alternative render of the scene that I assembled for the Combat Pilot image. I pulled the camera back to show more of the aircraft, and applied a material to the main hull of the aircraft, giving it a worn look.

For some reason, the sky dome refused to render, so the image had a plain black background. I rendered an alternative sky in VUE, and then used Photoshop to composite the different renders. I also did some minor cleanup in Photoshop, masking out part of the aircraft that didn't look quite right in this context.
