This scene was modeled and rendered in Carrara. The marine and the armor hanging on the wall behind her are purchased products from Daz3D. The rest of the scene was constructed using Carrara's modeling tools. Carrara was also used to construct the studs, eyepiece and 'techno-mohawk' worn by the woman. The latter appears more complex than it is: it's actually a single spline model, but the Wires shader element is used to drive the alpha channel of the shader, creating the illusion of a more complex model.
