This image was designed to accompany Blind Perseus, a science-fiction short story published by Abyss & Apex Magazine. It depicts the protagonist of the story, a blind spaceship engineer, and his ship.
The ship is assembled from components from Petipet’s Solaris Station models. After rendering, the image was post-edited in Photoshop to bring out the details and shift the colors.
I later re-used the ship in another image, called Mass Hunter.
