By the time that more than a few people at a time are wearing spacesuits, we’ll probably switch to helmets that have built-in cameras and heads-up displays. A plastic or glass bubble seems like just such an obvious point of weakness. Still, it does have the advantage that you don’t suddenly go blind if the cameras stop working. And it does allow for interesting portraits, like this one.
